Conservation project for some of the world's most endangered species

The Natterjack Toad

These toads survive in only 60 sites along coastal Britain. They are most threatened by habitat lost. This species is identifiable by the yellow stripe along their backs. Amphibians and Reptile Conservation (ARC) is setting up a species action plan to aid Natterjack UK conservation.

ARC own and manage over 80 reserves across Britain. They educate, spearhead conservation campaigns, carry out research and organise ways for others to help amphibians and reptiles.
