The awards recognise reporting that is clear, evidenced and useful to the people it is written for. They recognise documents, not reputations.

Emissions reporting with scope, boundary and method stated.

  • Social impact reporting

Workforce and community disclosure with honest baselines.

  • Governance transparency

Board, remuneration and control disclosure in plain terms.

Independence of judging

Awards are judged separately from any commercial relationship. Sponsorship of the Foundation, appearance on the podcast, inclusion in the showcase and coverage in the benchmark have no bearing on the outcome, and judges declare any interest in an entrant before deliberation. The awards recognise reporting practice; they do not rate, score or certify any organisation.
