Independence of judging
Awards are judged separately from any commercial relationship. Sponsorship of the Foundation, appearance on the podcast, inclusion in the showcase and coverage in the benchmark have no bearing on the outcome, and judges declare any interest in an entrant before deliberation. The awards recognise reporting practice; they do not rate, score or certify any organisation.
